USA Fix Now is designed to help workers be discoverable without requiring sensitive personal information to be displayed publicly.

What can be public

A worker may choose to show a display name, profile photo, services, skills, experience, general service area, availability, starting price, portfolio examples and approved reviews.

What should stay private

Do not publish a home address, government identification, private financial information or other sensitive personal information in a worker profile. Personal phone numbers and email addresses do not need to be public because customers can start a conversation through the platform.

Making hiring decisions

Customers are responsible for evaluating whether a worker is appropriate for a job, including checking licenses, insurance or other qualifications when the work or local law requires them.
